Workshop topics below:

January topic- we will discuss how to invest 6 hours a week to improve your relationship. Learn how to maximize time together and value quality time.

February topic- all about sex! From increased intimacy to better communication. Feeling important, loved, special, wanted, desired, and prioritized by your partner contributes to overall relationship satisfaction.

March topic- friendship: you will learn the importance of being your partner’s best friend, how to be a best friend, and why this is the foundation for emotional stability in your relationship.

April topic- conflicts: what do they mean? Why do you have them? How to solve them!

May topic- state of the union conversation: how do you have a conversation about the state of your relationship? How do you talk about what’s going well or what’s not going well? How do you ask for more of what you want?

June topic- dreams within conflict: what is the dream in that pesky conflict you keep having? Be prepared and bring that perpetual problem to this workshop to learn how to compromise about it.

July topic: co-regulation: what is it? Why is it important to know when you need it? You will learn and practice various forms of co-regulation in this workshop.

August topic- active listening: This is where you will learn to listen to understand and experience empathy for your partner in a new and deep way.

September topic- repairing hurts: how do make up after a fight? What do you say after you both lost control of your emotions and said some hurtful things or walked away during a heated argument?
October topic- how to end an argument: how do you know when an argument is over? How do you know the next time this topic gets brought up, it won’t be an argument?

November topic- addiction: what is it? How do you know the way you use the substance has become a problem? How do you talk about it?

December topic- loving someone with a mental health diagnosis. what is PTSD, OCD, Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, and Eating Disorders? What about Learning Disabilities? Neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder?
